Winter Boating

As we come to the end of January, dare I suppose that we've had the worst of the winter weather? I don't think so! Still it's tempting to make plans for an early cruise on the Norfolk Broads.
Whilst most boats are out of the water until Easter I can't see the point of wasting all that time on dry land. I'll get her bottom scraped some time this season and with the milder winters it's great to get out on the water when there's so little river traffic about not to mention being able to moor up just about anywhere.
Maybe tomorrow.

Hi Wally,
Just found the picture of the gin palace on the blog. What is it (make & model)?
Cheers, Cec (Sutton)

Hi Cec
It's a Sancerre built specifically for the broads. Low profile lets it get under all the bridges on the Broads except Potter H. It's low enough for that but too wide !
