Snettisham Fete 2008
Weren't we blessed with fine weather! Although 
the forecast had been for odd showers we managed to dodge them. Here's a selection of pics that Sheri took. Pictured above - the magnificent setting at Snettisham with the church up the hill overlooking all the goings on! The star turn was Trix N Stix - the group of young drummers who played a whole variety of drums in sync and then picked up pots, pans, a dustbin lid and a pice of stainless chimney flu pipe and carried on playing them instead! They're a keen bunch

Great to meet up with them again and many other listeners (old and new) who came and said hello. 
Also pictured, the two proud boys supporting their sister who won the baby competition although we say well done to all the Mums (they always have a lot of new kids in Snettisham - there's obviously something in the water!) and the little fairy who beat off stiff competition to be our fancy dresser of the day. Talking about dressing fancy, check out the technique of the lad who had to mummify his mate with the toilet roll. (picture above) This is always a favourite although this year we tried a new one. Bowling (with balloons filled with water). In previous years we've made contestants throw them to their partners until they burst. This year - feeling compassionate - we got them to roll their balls as far as they could without them bursting. The youngsters showed the adults how to do it once again.
