As I document every holiday we have around the Broads, I thought you might like to look at the old locks on the derelict North Walsham and Dilham canal. Cut from the River Ant at the start of the 19th century and superceded by the railway which was later cut by Dr.Beeching and the fate of the Mill at Briggate. Let me know what you think. I've tried to be as accurate as possible. In fact, talking about it on the Show prompted Sheila to send me a locally produced book about the railways' history and it's fascinating. You may have noticed nationally that the BBC is focussing on this subject during October. So this is just a little extra. Reminder my other Blog may be of interest too! http://www.norfolk-broads.blogspot.com/
