This years Party for the Children hosted by the East Coast Truckers. As usual they laid on a special afternoon of fun and entertainment thanks to their all-year-round fundraising efforts. It's not just the annual convoy that takes up their time and thanks were also given to those who'd made a special contribution through the year by way of a presentation after the children had all gone home.
Meanwhile, thanks everyone for the birthday cards for Sheri. She writes a monthly article for the charities magazine which is sent out to all the Friends of ECTC.
Too many to mention here but this pic was taken when the truckers surprised her at the Marina Centre Saturday night. Those in the know may recognise the little fairy ! They even gave her a gluten free cake. Pity about the candles though. Because of a slight delay in proceedings they'd almost burnt completely down but there was still a big cheer when she blew them out.
