Radio Car Travelogue Christmas Week

OK so I thought it would be a quiet week. All morning I'd been doing the travel news about the A47 being closed because of an 'incident'. Next thing I'm there! A car had been set fire to at the filling station on the roundabout. They'd evacuated the adjacent Macdonalds and after fire crews made the area safe, the police began their investigation. It's believed a 32 year old man has been arrested under suspicion of arson. Naturally, this was the closest I could get. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
So 2010 comes to a close and so does George Whie Juniors in Norwich. Christmas day a pipe burst in the roof and the next days water flooded down the walls through ceilings and into the floor. Here head teacher June Sewell shows me the damage which is extensive. It means that the pupils will have an extended break as property services tackle the repairs. 2011 for them started with a bonus but I'm sure there'll be some catching up to do!
