PRICE CHECK.
Individual allowances are 90 litres of wine, 3200 cigarettes and 3kg of tobacco.
Although prices have risen recently the price of cigarrettes is £3.90 per pack compared to £6.60 in Britain. The wine on average is about £2-2.50 a bottle. Cheapest is French table wine at - wait for it - £0.80p a bottle. Tobacco is £4.40 for a 50g Golden Virginia compared to £12-13 here. Good smelly French cheese - priceless!!
