A straw fire at Litcham had the fire brigade out in the early hours but they were letting it burn itself out by the time I arrived. A serious assault on Prince of Wales Road outside Chicago rock cafe left a man with serious head injuries. Here the forensic team is examining the scene. The incident was at 0225am - at 0715 the police reopened the pavement outside the venue.
