Take one empty roof facing south. SolarXchange arrived right after the scaffolders had built the platform.
The internal installations were fitted next to the electricity meter and up in the loft there's two large invertors which convert the dc current produced by the PV (photo-volataic) panels into ac.




It took just a day to fit the supporting frame and the eighteen panels. For the first three days after we had almost unbroken sunshine and we kept rushing to the meter to see what was happening. Mrs. Webb is working out how best to use all the free energy whilst I'm prepared to wait until the bills start coming in showing what the savings are!
