Wally Webb says rubber did it for me !

I just didn't think it would work.
It's freezing in Norfolk at the moment so I went down to the old boat to run up the engine and heating systems. Instead of putting my feet up I decided to try something I'd not done before. Ages ago I bought a packet of rubber maggots as a standby if I ran out of bait. Out comes the telescopic rod by the mooring and hey presto! Ten minutes later a fine looking roach is looking me in th eyes. OK - you can go back in the water - but weren't you the dumb one trying to eat my rubber maggot. Must try a red one next time.
