To celebrate the first 25 years of BBC Radio Norfolk, Wally was given the reward of 25 days touring Norfolk places which he enjoyed immensely. As a result of that tour, a limited edition T-shirt was produced as an on-air prize. None of these priceless garments were ever sold but were sent out to winners with the instruction, "if you go anywhere in the world that's different, put the shirt on, take a photo and send it back to me."
As a result, pics of "Wally's World Tour Of Norfolk" T-shirts flooded in from around the globe and to this day you may spot someone wearing this fetching item. If you do, say to them "I know where you're from and what you do." and see what the reply is !
